I've previously said that some of the best pieces of information you can get from the chief at the start of the case directly point towards specific people – either a name or a special location to visit – but there's one thing that trumps all of these: information that points to a hideout within Washington. Being able to start sleuthing without ever boarding a plane is a wonderful thing indeed, allowing you to start playing catchup with a scant few hours of starting the case.

Considering how many locations there are in the game and the number of masterminds you have to capture, it stands to reason that at least one of them will be stationed in Washington at some point. I can't imagine a better start to a case than arresting the mastermind before you've barely begun, acquiring all the information needed to arrest everyone before the sun has begun to rise. All of this is just me musing out loud, of course, for we have no idea where the current mastermind is and after our previous two cases, the chances of us finding a third in a row are very, very slim.
