Let's Play Starward Rogue - #22: Alpha on Extended Normal (2/3)
3Continuing directly from the last part, I complete floors 5 and 6 with the Alpha mech.
Deja vu much? Just like with the Arsenal mech, I take down the Warden and Periphery with little to no issue. Not as easily as with the Arsenal, but still on the easy side. I expected the fights to be much harder, but thanks to the various upgrades and perks I collected, they weren't.
The Torpedo Cannon is quickly becoming my favorite secondary weapon in the game. It deals a large amount of damage, has a sizable blast radius, and it can destroy destructible blocks like missiles can. That latter feature makes this weapon amazing for hunting down health shards and other collectibles. Now, I'll never need to worry about running out of missiles. I can exit and re-enter a room, and I'll have a fully-restocked supply of uses. The only issue is that it uses up a large amount of energy per shot.
