Let's Play Starward Rogue - #24: Rex on Extended Normal (1/4)
1In this part, I use the Missile Mech Rex on the Extended Normal mode. It's one of the four new mechs that Logorogue added in their "more mechs" mod. You can download that mod here: https://forums.arcengames.com/starward-rogue-mods-modding/more-mechs/
The Rex Mech's main claim to fame is its focus on missiles. Rex has a 15% chance of gaining a missile upon every enemy kill, starts with the Torpedo Cannon energy weapon equipped, and has a large potential for increased missile capacity through leveling perks. Plus, it does have a pretty good health rating. However, its main weaknesses are its low damage and low energy reserves.
Thankfully, my time with this mech didn't have as unlucky a start as the Alpha one. As long as I can keep getting good upgrades, I think I'll be able to reach and defeat Terminus. Especially damage and energy upgrades to reduce this mech's weak points.
