The blackmail compounds as Regis, the world's most gullible cop, is coerced into planing a bomb in an "empty" apartment. Just getting the bomb is sketchy enough; even with Central preoccupied by a cyber attack, I feel like someone would notice the 'material' missing from the suicide bomber. Still, the blackmailer's M.O. points to the man who killed Regis' wife, who was recently paroled and fitted with tech that should block such impulses. Obviously, there's something more going on - a point driven home when Regis learns about the likely target of the bombing.

We then jump back to Latha, now in police custody and trying to report what happened. She's still jonesing for an internet fix, and cobbles together some wetware to "discreetly" hop online. There, a mysterious hacker reveals footage of Regis planting the bomb, and encourages her to escape before he gets another crack at it. Property destruction, ho!
