Let's Play The Elder Scrolls Arena - Part 4 - The RNG Gods Look Upon Me With Favor
I spend a little bit of time focusing on the manual after looking it up online, including reading the story that comes with it and getting an idea of what my class actually does.
Most of the video is pretty slow paced, focusing on me reading stuff from a manual and then me selling a bunch of stuff. As I am a kleptomaniac, I have a lot to sell in RPG titles, even if most of it is just worth 1 gold. Of course, I also have to take full advantage of the bartering system, meaning I become determined to get the best possible deal I can get for every item. This ends up being a slow process, though I do get 9000 in the end, not including what I spent on a suit of chainmail.
We then try to find where Fang Lair is, which of course means going back to Stonekeep. We have a 1/8 chance of actually making progress. The RNG loves me at the moment, so we don't really need to put any effort at all into getting told where to go.
The biggest thing has to be an absolutely amazing sword that we managed to get during the first dungeon. It appears to be just your average longsword with some identifiable property, until we take it to a Mage Guild that is. For just 100 gold, we are able to find out the mysteries of this sword, which fills me with sudden excitement when the secrets are revealed.
We also get a guest in this playthrough, Bangarama, who sticks around for a short time while we make our way to Stonekeep. I also have a bit of fun with the locals, including more massacres, and asking woman in bikinis who they are and finding out they are somehow one of the best fighters. We also get threatened by some people and murdered by others. Still, it is all fun and games, as long as we don't hurt Cremem or question how a citizen got to wander around just in front of the palace.
