Let's Play The Elder Scrolls Arena - Part 3 - I Am a Cat and That is That
Please ignore the lack of visible fur, the normal looking ears, the exact form of a human being, and not having any whiskers. I am a cat man. This knowledge I got from wandering the desert, so you know it is totally legit.
Basically, this part is a redux of the series, where I start at the very beginning and need to make my way through everything we did before (because "End of last stream": is apparently too confusing to understand). This video pretty much covers everything of the first part in a much quicker fashion (I actually did multiple parts in this session, but Youtube has lately become a pain with videos over 2 hours, so it is being segmented), perhaps because my cycles are set up properly this time or because I am using the optimized key bindings to begin with.
Perhaps due to the increased cycle speeds, the menus are ridiculously fast. In particular, I cannot choose any option between 0 and 100 with regards to music. Luckily I seem to be heard pretty well even when the game is at its loudest. The fast scrolling text on the other hand has nothing to do with my settings, it just is terribly quick, making it quite the rush job to read out loud. I somehow manage to barely keep up, then forget pretty much everything that was said. Luckily we have all experienced the game up to Stonekeep and I have beaten Fang Lair once.
I go into the game perhaps worse than last time, knowing absolutely nothing about what class I am choosing beyond general assumptions. Somehow that gives me something I am extremely satisfied with. Phpminor showed up as usual, though he tended to give me wrong ideas and seems to be confused what game we are exactly playing.
Painted with the bat-signal on my face, I charge mercilessly at my foes to prove my cat-worthiness. Apparently I chose a class with extreme critical hits, then put a lot of strength into it so it caused more damage, then found the most powerful base weapon in the game. Luck favored me in the Imperial Dungeons.
Upon leaving, we sell a bunch of stuff, getting pretty rich while being a few hundred short of what we had at the end of part 2. I also decide to get in trouble with the locals and go on random murdering sprees, where I learn of potential profit in the future.
