Let's Play Tiny Barbarian DX #15: The Climb Begins
84We may be past the initial guards but there's far more peril ahead of us on our journey to the top of the ominous tower of evil. Before we can think about any of that however we need to actually get into the tower, a feat more daunting then you'd first think. To get there we're going to need to do some pretty pinpoint platforming combined with precise timing and if you've watched any other platformers I've played you'll know how good I am at that. Tiny Barbarian wasn't too mean with its platforming in the previous chapters though and now I've got the hang of this game again, that aspect of the game won't give me any more difficulty then it would in any other platformer.
If there's anything we need to watch out for it's the enemies, specifically the boss battles. Every enemy in this game has a highly focused moveset, allowing you to quickly learn what they can do and how to best them. being armed with that knowledge only levels the playing field however, for the enemies you face are quite capable of overwhelming you if you're not careful or simply unlucky. As you saw in the previous video, the boss battles in this game are spectacular and difficult indeed, fights that kill me quite often even when I know what I need to do. That's no bad thing however as they're meant to be a challenge and with unlimited lives and a checkpoint right before then, you've got all the time in the world to master and then defeat them. It's a good thing too for the beast we faced as the first boss of the episode will be far from the hardest opponent we'll face before the sinister tower has been bested, of that I have no doubt.
