Let's Play Titanfall 2 | Chapter 7: The Ark | Jumping Ships | Viper Aerial Titan Battle
2Welcome back to Titanfall 2, a first person shooter that was released in 2016 and is a sequel to Titanfall, the multiplayer only competitive shooter. The game focuses on the story of Rifleman Cooper as he receives training to become a Titan pilot and his bond with his Titan, B-7274, on the planet Typhon when their invasion is met with heavy resistance and the mission goes astray. Now, they must work together to find a way to uphold the original mission as a part of the Marine Special Recon Service against the reign of the IMC that has been conquering and destroying planets. The game features enhanced mobility as the player can run along walls and shoot enemies in fast, fluid fashion and has various platforming elements in addition to the ability to pilot a mech known as a Titan that often finds its place fighting other Titans or obliterating enemy pilots and infantry alike.
With the Ark already being transported, the Militia's only option is to give the IMC fleet a chase and stop the mothership by force while it's still in the air. As a result, they've decided to use all the ships at their disposal to fly right into the Draconis's path and intercept the cargo.
However, there is a new challenge to complicate things. There's an IMC Titan in the skies that can fly, ridding the Militia of all air superiority and taking down their planes left and right.
As a result, Cooper must manually traverse Malta, the ship behind the Draconis, and not only gain control of it, but also eliminate all the guns on board so that the Militia Pilots can safely board it.
After taking out all the anti-air guns, the Cooper and the other Pilots make their way up to Malta's Bridge and commandeer control of the ship. Cooper finally hacks into the Battleship and sets its course right behind the Draconis in order to catch up to it.
Once done, BT arrives at the scene to assist Cooper in travelling to the IMS Draconis. However, the flying Titan with Viper as the pilot shows up with two Scorch style ground support modules. In the ensuing battle, BT takes a lot of damage, but is able to push Viper to the limit and sends him reeling down into the abyss.
BT is just about to Fastball Cooper onto the Draconis, but Viper shows up out of nowhere in final flash of glory, taking them both sky high and landing them on the Draconis anyway in a melee battle where the tides keep shifting. BT was initially coming out on top, but Viper used his thrusters to turn the table and kept hacking away at BT. In his defensive attacks, BT managed to claw open Viper's chassis, allowing Cooper to take a well-placed shot directly at the Pilot, Viper, and not only eliminate the enemy pilot, but also save BT. But all did not end well for BT lost an arm in the battle as well.
Running out of time, BT took Cooper and jumped down into the Draconis himself and headed straight for the Ark. With their options running short, and all hands abandoning ship, BT decided to use his chassis to contain the Ark. However, the Draconis had already begun crashing and the battle between BT-7274 had left the plane severely damaged. There being no means of escape, BT covers Cooper in a protective gesture and hopes for the best.
