With the Kyoto path complete, we head back to that roadblock after the final Pielope fight in the hopes of progressing the story, only to discover what an X-Type really is: a person in a videogame who knows about the existence of the player, of which Pochi is. So in a move that reduces the fourth wall to dust, Pochi directly asks me for help. As such, for those of you who are familiar with my playthrough, you and I both know that Pochi is basically screwed in that case. Though fortunately for us and Pochi, the game provides dialogue and assistance in our stead. However, the game knows that since we haven’t gone down all of the story paths, we don’t have enough information to answer all of the questions needed to progress the story past this level.
So now it’s up to us to travel down the two remaining paths that we haven’t covered, starting with us choosing the Oita path, much to Pai’s delight.
