0At long last, we find ourselves in Oita, a grand city that is a center of culture and cutting-edge technology, what with its many stoplights, according to Pai. However, despite these bold claims, there’s not a single stoplight to be seen- even when we run/roll across town as Mowchan in order to rescue Pai from a giant roly-poly that kidnapped her after Jennu made the mistake of messing with its babies.
And if that wasn’t enough of a bombshell, we learn that the group was trapped in that amusement park for a whole year after finding a cellphone. Though one thing I find strange is that no one from the Oita group mentions this to the Fukuoka group even though on that path, it was confirmed that the events that we experienced on this path happened regardless of Reycho’s presence (at least, the part where Pai was kidnapped by a giant roly-poly). I mean, you’d think that the rest of the group would be interested to know that they’ve lost a year of their life thanks to a computer with a god complex.
