0After Kansai does one of his more competent acts as a leader by carrying Chuko to safety out of the place while everyone in the group except Reycho, Yuki, and Jennu follow, we learn that the lattermost has a grudge against Niyan on the grounds that he murdered her sister, even though she was killed by an earthquake. However, instead of letting Niyan fall to his doom when an earthquake hits and causes the floor to cave in beneath him (because apparently MAIK is too lazy to reinforce the floors in the underground areas where it’s making humanity inhabit), she saves him by using her newly-unlocked powers- causing him regain his emotions and give us the antibiotics that Chuko needs to live- which we then use to climb back up to the surface and reunite with the rest of the club.
On a different subject, when reading text in a text-based video game, don’t glance over any dialogue involving love; otherwise, you may make the same mistake I did in this episode and think that the guy is claiming to be in love with a 12-year-old girl instead of her older sister. I’m serious, I accidentally overlooked/didn’t hear the “little” part when Niyan said “the woman I love’s little…” and thought that Niyan was pulling a Haiji by being in a romantic relationship with a minor. Though good thing I noticed it right after recording this episode; otherwise, I would have been very creeped out by Niyan and would have had a much lower opinion of his character.
