11The Ace Attorney series always featured a black sheep, which is the fourth installment: Apollo Justice. Series author Shu Takumi wanted to move on from the antics of Phoenix Wright and wanted an all new cast of characters and new intrigues. But higher-ups decided that a new Ace Attorney game without Phoenix Wright in it would be inconceivable, which makes this game sort of a bridge between old and new. It got a rather lukewarm reception at the time, but fans of the series have started to warm up to it again as of late, so let's see what the game did wright (harharhar)... and wrong!
This video covers all of Case 1: Turnabout Trump. For his first homicide trial, rookie attorney Apollo Justice and his boss Kristoph Gavin must defend fellow hobo Phoenix Wright, who left the law business and moved on in life to become a poker player. He's accused of killing mysterious traveler Shadi Smith. Cheating, secret passages and knowledge of the impossible await.
