Let’s Replay Deus Ex #20: Today's Flight is Cancelled Due to JC
163Up until now, we’ve had many small decisions to make, from how to complete – or not complete – certain objectives to the manner in which we travel from A to B and the side quests we elect to do or ignore. These choices have resulted in different dialogue, rewards and changes in what certain characters think of us, but the plot hasn’t diverged from any of them. Even when we completely messed up the original mission, the only real change was a small dock in our pay and some people getting very cross.
All that is about to change however.
It’s at this point in the game that we begin to be presented with far more important choices that will have a more lasting impact. What we decide to do in some situations from here on out will determine if we receive important plot information and whether certain people we’ve come to know over the game live or don’t. We’ll be presented with difficult decisions, asked to choose between our morals and our orders, between the easy way and the hard way and if we’re willing to go the extra mile to protect the people we care about.
The first of these decisions is coming up and those who watched my original let’s play will surely remember the way I handled things back then. That was then however and this time, we’re going to do things quite differently indeed.
