We’ve almost explored everywhere we can in Ankh-Morpork and of the places we have left, none of them are essential to completing the first act. Once we’ve finished looking about the pub and then visited the city gates, it’ll finally be time to solve the important puzzles that lead towards getting the items the arch chancellor wants for the dragon detecting thingy. With it still being the first act, the puzzles are relatively simple to figure out and have few hiccups that stall your progress, easing you gently into the chaos that’ll become the norm by the later parts of the game.

You may be asking yourself whether we’ll be using all the items in our inventory to get these plot critical things and the answer to that is no. We’ve grabbed a couple of things earlier than we need them and a select few items have no real use at all, take purely because we can. To say that our item repertoire is going to get a LOT larger before we’re done is the understatement of the century.
