Let’s Play Black Mesa #35: Welcome to Lambda Complex
137This is a blind playthrough. Kindly avoid posting spoilers in the comments or solutions to puzzles either in this video or future ones so as not to spoil the experience for me or those that haven’t seen the game before.
It may have taken us far longer than expected with far more combat than was ion the job description but we’ve finally made it to lambda complex. That the place has suffered just as badly as every other part of the facility is not surprising but there’s hopefully at least some of the science team there that we can work with to close the resonance cascade and end the alien invasion before it gets too far down the road. We’re already starting to see the flora and fauna of the alien world taking root here and considering that we’re currently in a desert, it’s safe to say that it’ll thrive almost anywhere if allowed to spread further.
Unfortunately for us, we’re being barred by the most common of obstacles: locked doors. All the mundane ways in are shut tight and we have neither the clearance to unlock them nor someone that has said clearance to do it for us. It looks like we’re going to have sneak our way using less conventional methods and that often involves going toe-to-toe with even more aliens, something we’re regrettably good at doing now.
