Let’s Replay Discworld #10: Concluding the First Collect-A-Thon
156To those that are wondering how the game is going to progress once the wizards of the Unseen University find and confront the dragon, you need to remember two things. Firstly, we’re still in the first of four acts and second, do you really think Rincewind would let the game end so quickly now that he’s in the limelight? Something is bound to go wrong, it’s just a question of what, when and how it’s Rincewind’s fault.
The first act of the game is mostly ingrained in my memory on account of me playing it so many times in my youth and later for my original let’s play. Many of the puzzle solutions have stuck with me too but my knowledge of the game’s more tricky puzzles is going to wane the further in we get. I’d like to say that I’m older and thus far wiser than I was when I played it in the past but we’ve all seen how I can sometimes get stumped by the most minor of things that I shouldn’t have in hindsight. To that I say that to err is human and I am very much human.
