
Let’s Replay Trine 2 w/ Alienkabalien #21: Out of the Eww and Into the Brrr
I have to give credit to the developers of the game for making the interior of the giant desert worm thingy so icky and eww, all while making it mostly believable. I say mostly because their efforts to mask all the mechanics we’ve already encountered can only go so far – I’m looking at you, levers – which makes me wonder why they kept the things less easy to blend into the level aesthetic in.
Fortunately for us, we’re not that far from getting out of that level, though the next one is no easier. In fact, one could say it has even more devious tricks up its sleeves that are cleverly masked by how pretty the level is and how absolutely awesome the music is. Seriously, it’s in contention with the very first track in the original game for the best tune, though I shall not say why and instead let you hear it yourself.
