It's the Indie Game Wednesday roundup for Wednesday, Dec 8th, 2021.

Keep it Together: a game where you are a pile of rats in a trench coat, and you have to pass as a human. You do that by responding to statements from people in 1 of 4 ways. Answer correctly and you get points! Answer incorrectly and your stress goes up. Every time the meter completes, you have to hold some key on your keyboard. You have to hold it the whole time you are also answering questions. The more you fail, the more keys you hold until (if you're me) your keyboard cannot handle anymore simultaneous keys and you fail. It was a fun idea!

The Count of Monte Carlo: what if Blackjack, but with modifiers that you can buy between rounds. This was a great way for me to learn that I am _terrible_ at blackjack, and do not know how most of it works. Great fun.

Circa Infinity: a really smart puzzle platformer? where you are constantly trying to get to the inner circles, and not touch the bad guys. It adds and mixes mechanics pretty fast, and the feedback loop is solid. It's brutal on the eyes though.

Rasternauts: it's a platforming shooter that reminds me of the flash games of old, complete with clunky controls, slippery feet, and questionable art direction. There is a fun tribute to sonic in that when you get hit, you eject your orbs like an exploded water balloon. This one frustrated me.

Magic Wand: Bud... I dunno what this was.
