Thanks to the Angel of Valhalla, Lightning has reached the entrance to Etro's temple. However, the big boss of the Wildlands is difficult, to put it mildly, so she will not be heading there yet.

To the southeast of where she landed, she can find a hidden treasure ball with a set of Beggar's Beads (time 0:15). This accessory prevents Lightning from earning gil but boosts her chance to get drops instead. Nice.

When she drops back to ground level, she finds another undecipherable plaque (time 0:50). This triggers some dialogue with a Watching Girl.

Inside a northeastern alcove, Lightning will find an Etro's Forbidden Tome on the ground (time 2:02). This is a little hard to find.

Professor Latham, a Poltae resident in the southwest of town, offers the quest "The Grail of Valhalla" (time 2:54).

Lightning leaves Poltae and, heading east at the intersection, starts to head north through the Rocky Crag. In the eastern part of the area, she finds another Rocky Crag Mole (time 7:38).

To the north, she will find another Chaos infusion (time 12:12). Happy happy, joy.

In the northern open area of the Rocky Crag, there is a hidden alcove with a Crimm Mushroom (time 16:47).

On a plateau in the middle of the northern area, there is a treasure ball with a Windwalker Bracelet (time 17:05). This grants Lightning Enaero for the first 60 seconds of battle.

Farther northwest, Lightning will come to the Eremite Plains (time 20:18). This is a large open area with tall plateaus. Having the Angel of Valhalla with gliding abilities is definitely advisable here. Many things here are weak to ice-elemental attacks.

At the far northern end of the Eremite Plains, Lightning will find the Crash Site (time 26:22). At the base of the wreck, there is a treasure ball containing the Broken Gyroscope (time 26:36).

Some familiar harmonica music begins to play at the top of the ladder. Hm... Around the northern side of the wreck, there is some debris that will be relevant for a quest (time 27:14).

Inside the wreck, Lightning will encounter a familiar face with a familiar Afro (time 27:57). However, his once cheery disposition is long gone. His poor kid can't seem to catch a break.

When our old friend leaves, a baby chocobo appears in the doorway (time 28:57). The chick will lead Light to a treasure ball that has just appeared outside (time 29:35). It contains a Fragment of Mischief.

After that, our favorite mischief-maker will make an appearance. Lightning will learn how to save both father and son in the Wildlands' second main quest. She needs to find four other soul fragments.
