Playing dos games on Linux using Dosbox:
Carmageddon

Carmageddon is a 1997 racing video game heavily inspired by the movie 'Death Race 2000' and thus, the game is gory.

Troubleshooting:
The Steam release of the game is a dos version running using dosbox (shipped with the game).
As I ran into issues (the game's doesn't load at launch) I had to play it using a 32 bit compiled Linux version of dosbox.
