Living With Depression in Your 20s
157Truth be told, I have a good life. I have a family that loves me, a bed to sleep on every night, a full time job... and all that sometimes still makes you wonder. It's an interesting thing, isn't it? This is for anybody who may be struggling right now, whose 2023 wasn't the best, or overall you just need to hear that someone feels your pain.
Depression sucks. Mental health sucks sometimes. There's absolutely no shame in it. You're not perfect, and you should never strive to be. Be you, the best version of YOU that YOU can be. You are loved, you are cared for, and I hope that one day you get to see that for all that you truly are. You're amazing and I believe in your fullest potential to be realized one day.
Side note: I don't necessarily condone the part where I say I condone sex work but I don't shun the idea either. Sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do to get by and I get it. My advice... try other things first before you do so, plenty of other wonderful professions to go into before such an alternative may cross your mind.
