This is the longplay of the game Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, released for Game Boy Classic in 1992! In addition to being the sequel to the previous game, it also marks the first appearance of Wario, a sort of evil alter-ego of Mario and that would also be present in many other games in the Mario series.

The plot, which immediately follows that of the first game, consists of Mario returning to his castle after rescuing Princess Daisy, only to find that it has been taken over by an enemy, Wario, while Mario was in Sarasaland. The 6 Golden Coins were spread throughout Mario Land, and Mario must retrieve these coins in order to access the castle and defeat Wario, reclaim his castle, and restore order to Mario Land.

This game represented an immense advance compared to its predecessor, since in addition to the normal phases there are also secret phases, the scenarios and characters are much more detailed and, in addition to the form of Super Mario and Fire Mario, there is the form Bunny Mario, which allows our hero gliding in the air as the player repeatedly presses the jump button, an extremely useful skill in this game.
