This is the longplay of The Shadow game, Beat'n Up game made for Super Nintendo but canceled, even though the game is almost ready.

The Shadow is a character of police histories originally created for the programs of radio in the decade of 1930. Its creator was Walter Brown Gibson, under the pseudonym Maxwell Grant. It is a merciless masked avenger who is, in fact, the millionaire Lamont Cranston. In the radio broadcast, several actors lent their voice to the Shadow, among them Orson Welles.

In the 1980s, Shadow was transformed into a hero and received adaptations for comics, a film (released in 1994 with Alec Baldwin playing the character) and this game, even totally ready, was not officially released.

In this game, our hero must keep Khan from turning New York into chaos. The game has acceptable graphics, the music is dark as a game so it needs to be, the gameplay and its difficulty, were not bad, were good and only, with his ring, the hero can be invisible, shoot with his weapons ( which was not common in Beat'em up of consoles), explode all enemies in the screen and use an dash attack.

This game is difficult, yes, enemies are usually more cruel than bosses and going flying kicks is sometimes the best way to defeat some enemies if you play on the Hard level. The Shadow is a character I consider quite interesting and I believe it has inspired many heroes, like Batman, but the Shadow became a less known hero in the world. But remember: the Shadow knows, and knows a lot.
