This is the longplay of Home Alone, an action and platform game released for several consoles. This version of the SNES was produced by Imagineering Inc. and published by THQ in 1991!
The game is based on the movie of the same name, starring Macaulay Culkin, in which he played a boy named Kevin McCallister, who ends up being forgotten at home by his family, who are going to spend Christmas in Paris. Kevin, at first, loves the idea of being alone in a huge house, with no parents and no rules, but things start to change when thugs Harry and Marv (known as Wet Bandits) implement their plan to rob the home. Kevin must fend for himself while trying to protect his home from the Wet Bandits. Home Alone is a comedy, uncommitted and simple, set during the Christmas season and very well demonstrates the Christmas spirit to the viewer, so much so that it became a classic end-of-the-year movie. In fact, it entertains both children and adults of all ages, even today.
In this game, the character Kevin needs to collect items and deposit them in a basement, while avoiding enemies and obstacles such as nails and even toys (!!!), which can damage him. The object of the game is to collect these items, dump them in the basement and then access the basement of the house to face traps and bosses (which are bizarre things like spiders and rats). To defend himself, Kevin uses toy weapons, from a pistol that shoots water, a small rifle that shoots balls, a slingshot and tennis balls.
The game is extremely short and mediocre, made to try to capitalize on the movie. I hope you enjoy the video.
