Lost Words Beyond the Page - Part 3
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Lost Words Beyond the Page.
We are back with Robyn in the desert chasing down the dragon. Whilst walking through the desert we find some fireflies that have managed to escape the dragon. We collect them and push forward. Even when the wind picks up Robyn keeps pushing forward, nothing will stop her. After pushing through the sandstorms Robyn comes across someone. They are very unhappy to see Robyn as she has entered the desert uninvited. The person is the one creating the sandstorms to push Robyn back. They also create block barriers that Robyn is able to break using word magic.
Robyn keeps pushing forwards and asking questions about the dragon, but this person does not want to speak with Robyn at all. We leave them and keep searching for the dragons anyway. We enter a cave filler with strange plants that are scared by Robyn's footsteps. To not scare these plants Robyn finds a new word called silence that will allow her to walk near the plants without scaring them. Using this work Robyn is able to climb up the plants to reach new platforms.
Again we try to speak with the guardian of the desert but they just push us away. We use our word magic on them and silence them so they are unable to blow the sandstorm in our direction. The desert guardian follows us anyway and tries to block our path but we break through.
As we keep avoiding the desert guardian we hear them talking about a secret of the past that we must not know about. Robyn continues on wanting to know more. We see a statue of the desert guardian that has been partly broken. To get him to listen Robyn must choose to break or repair the statue. Using our word magic we repair the statue. The desert guardian does not understand why Robyn wanted to help but agrees to show Robyn about the past. Years before this guardian was worshiped but they did not manage to protect the people and lost everything they loved.
