Lost Words Beyond the Page - Part 2
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Lost Words Beyond the Page.
We start off again back in our journal with Isabelle talking about her daily life. We can see that Isabelle is filled with wonder about the world and excited to continue exploring life as show grows. Isabelle talks excitedly about her memories with her family. Even though Isabelle has happy memories with all the family, she seems to be extremely close with her Gran. Isabelle ad her Gran spend so much time together building and creating things together.
As Isabelle is telling us about these memories her mum knocks on the door, something has happened and her mum needs to leave straight away. Later Isabelle is told her nan has had a stroke, Isabelle does not know how to deal with this and is scared of losing her Gran. To distract herself Isabelle dives back into her story.
We see Robyn in the village that has suddenly been destroyed, there was a RAWR in the distance. We run to Elder Ava and she explains the village and fireflies have been attacked by a dragon. Robyn has to make her way again to the fireflies to make sure they are ok. We can see Isabelle's story changing based on the events happening in her life. On our way to the tree we gather a new word for Repair that we can use to fix items around us. This word is then stored in our book. As we get closer to the fireflies it is surrounded by fire. Robyn can use the word magic for extinguish for a short amount of time to make her way through the fire. After putting out the fire this work then disappears from our grasp.
Once we reach the fireflies Robyn realises the fireflies have gone and left the town. Robyn says her goodbyes and as the new guardian agrees to bring the fireflies back. Robyn now has to adventure out further than she ever had before to find and bring back the fireflies. Robyn was determined and nothing would get in her way, no matter how scared she really was. Robyn had a clean goal to catch the dragon and we are going to help her.
Then Isabelle starts to speak with us again in her journal about her Gran. The family have gone to visit Gran at the hospital. Gran looks and acts different now to Isabelle, how could things change so quickly? Gran was unable to speak clearly anymore and this really effected Isabelle. Isabelle does not really know how to take all of this news she believes that Gran will get better soon and be back to her normal self. However in the back of her mind there is a small amount of doubt that something could go wrong. Isabelle's mum seems really upset amount the situation. We can see Isabelle fighting with herself inside asking so many questions about what will happen and how things will change.
