Lowpoly levels with SPRyTILE (Blender) for Godot
Blender has a plugin called SPRyTILE, which lets you draw square polygons in 3d space. And since it's Blender, you can manipulate the mesh as you work!
This video is demonstrating what I think is really cool about having this in the workflow, and potential deliverables. You could make a cool looking RPG this way.
I drew the polygons and manipulated the shapes. Then I started cutting and extruding to give the textures a bit more depth, since the textures are from a 2D tileset.
The textures are from https://opengameart.org/content/lots-of-hyptosis-tiles-organized. With the comments from the original author on the page, I assume the legal use is permissive.
SPRyTILE is inspired by Crocotile3D, if you prefer a dedicated program for this workflow.
