Lunar New Year - Bunnie Rabbot WIP Part VIII - Crude Lip-sync & Eye Tracking Confirmation
Taking inspiration from playing Forged in Iron Torch after getting it off Steam for the Lunar New Year/Chinese New Year Sale and running around with an Edge of Tomorrow bunny rabbit protagonist here on my personal character work I am continuing to work out a smooth pipeline for the creation of furball anthro organic humanoid character using CC4 iClone as the primary base body model and motion source.
Just a quick confirmation test that all CC4 viseme lip syncs and facial expression morph motion is actually affecting the exported animation. This was not a refined motion it was just a plop some data in there and check if parts move reasonably correct kind of test. Additionally because the character's original 3D CC4 eyes have been trashed to make use of my custom 2D UV texture based eye movement I had to resetup a blueprint structure that could handle a proper "Look At" target. Its still actually not well done because it wont account for root motion but Ill be trying to take a crack at adding that later. As long as all this stuff kind sorta runs ok once wired up its fine to move on to the next steps.
