Sega AM2 takes the classic Japanese anime The Super Dimension Fortress Macross and brings it to the PlayStation 2 in style. An excellent mix of both flight sim and mecha combat makes this a fast paced shooter that closely follows the original anime. Big ships and some nice set piece mission stop the format from getting stale. Well worth an import if you have a Japanese PlayStation 2 lying around your house. Gameplay video is a mix of both a ground and space mission from the game.
