Mad Stalker is a great belt scroll game or beat-em-up similar to Ninja Warriors Again, except with mechs. It has excellent BGM by Keishi Yonao who has also done Strania The Stella Machina's soundtrack.

It is 2142. You're piloting the Slavegear Hound Dog on a mission in Artemis City to stop another unit gone rogue, Rising Dog. The Omega AI has locked the city down and sent out many other mechs to stop you.

Quarter circle towards enemy then A or B- Fire gun
Tap twice left or right then A or B- Dash attack (B travels further)
Tap twice down then A or B - Uppercut (B travels higher)
Hold A&B - Block
You can also throw enemies on the ground or in the air. I don't recommend trying to do ground throws, because there's a good chance it will be you getting thrown instead.
Street Fighter style dizzies can be inflicted on the enemies and you.

The X68000 version's subititle is misspelled as "Full Metal Forth". All other versions, including the recently released one for Mega Drive (a very limited release), correct this to "Force". Also available is a Vs. Mode where Gong, Hound Dog, and all bosses save for Stunbeat can be selected. Here you can challenge another player or the computer.
