Magicka 2 beta on Linux [Native] (AMD Radeon Catalyst fglrx)
4Today I'll show you how looks and works another native Linux game - Magicka 2.
Magicka 2 is sequel of Magicka, one of the best co-op adventure games. In Magicka 2 we play as Wizard and use many spells and we can mixing all spell for made another results. Is funny, we have create own way for many strange battle.
Magicka 2 is developed by Pieces Interactive and publish by Paradox Interactive (Linux friendly company :] )
Magicka 2 is now in open beta phase for Linux and SteamOS. So you can grab it and play but not in main branch. In Steam library we have two entry: Magicka 2 and Magicka 2: Spel Ballans Patch. Until developer push Linux port to final phase, we can't play in "main" Magicka 2, so If we want play in now, we need download game from Magicka 2 Spell Ballanse entry.

Game still is in beta phase so, can have many issues. I play in it on my Radeon HD 5850 with Catalyst 15.9 driver and game works well.
Developer said that the game offers poor performance on AMD cards. I must say that for me it works quite well.

Dziś pokażę wam, jak wygląda i działa kolejną wydana na systemy Linux gra - Magicka 2.
Magicka 2 znajduje się obecnie w fazie beta testów dla Linuksa i SteamOS. Pomimo testów, gra już teraz działa całkiem dobrze, nawet na karcie AMD Radeon HD5850. Jak informował developer, na kartach AMD gra działa z niskim FPS. U mnie jednak prezentuje się przyzwoicie.
Warto nadmienić, że w obecnej fazie beta, aby zagrać w grę należy zainstalować z biblioteki Steam pozycję Magicka 2 Spell Balanse, ponieważ główna Magicka 2 do czasu oficjalnej premiery pozostaje niedostępna.
