KDE Plasma 5.4 on Linux Mageia 6 Cauldron - is better but still buggy

Hi.
Today I show you how looks and works new KDE Plasma 5.4 in development Linux Mageia 6 x64 Cauldron.

Default in Mageia 5 we can't find Plasma 5, we have only KDE 4.14.3 but we can install Plasma 5 simply from Cauldron repo. So, we should upgrade system to development version and install from it Plasma 5 desktop enviroment.

When I test it I see a lot of bugs but every new release this desktop looking better and better but still need a lot of works. Many of work should be done by Mageia developers, because many of this bug is depends on this system and is not available in other distribution like Arch or OpenSuse.

So, look like standard installation missing system setting, so we have still old from KDE4 and we cant run it. Solution for this is deinstall old and install new system settings and now we can configure KDE Plasma 5.

These activities are experimental and you are doing it at your own risk. Plasma 5.4 in Mageia 6 Cauldron is not suitable for your daily work!

Cześć. Dzisiaj pokażę wam jak wygląda i działa nowe wydanie KDE Plasma 5.4 w systemie Linux Mageia 6 Caulron.

Plasma 5.4 wygląda znacznie lepiej niż poprzednie wydanie, ale ciągle zawiera pewne błędy. Wiele z nich jest zależne od systemu i powinny zostać poprawione przez twórców Mageia.

Wygląda na to, że w domyślnej instalacji brakuje pakietu systemsettings, a jedynie zawarto starą wersję z KDE4. Dlatego należy ją odinstalować i zainstalować nową współpracującą z Plasma 5.
