Make a Flip-Flops Lamp (USB-Powered)
Amazing simple circuit project, no need PCB and its parts directly joined with tin solder.
can work perfectly to driving 2 small bulbs (on and off alternately).
this DIY project, popularly referred to as the flip-flop circuit among hobbyist in electronic kits.
the circuit is simple and only requires a small number of components.
Components list
2 x resistor 1K2
2 x electrolitic capacitor 220uF/6.3V
2 x transistor 2SA733 / TUP
2 x mini bulb 4.5V - 6V
1 x USB 2.0 4-pin Male Connector
solid copper wire
Transistor 2SA733 (marked A733) can be substituted/ equivalent with TUP (Transistor Universal PNP). The D Flip Flop circuit using Transistors is a classic commonly used flip flop circuit.
This flasher circuit is very popular and it is usually the first circuit for building when starting in hobby electronic circuit. The circuit diagram is given (inserted) on the video above. Flip-flop is also called as Latch.
application: cool USB gadgets, lamp on bike (paired with power bank), etc.
