So it turns out Hugin isn't just for making panoramas. It can create fused exposures, do focus stacking, make HDR images, and more. It's a little overwhelming!
Today, I try and get it to make an HDR image out of two exposures of the same scene, one dark and one light.
- You can get Hugin here: http://hugin.sourceforge.net/
- You can learn more about how to set the "Focal Length Modifier" (also called a "Crop Factor") here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crop_factor
- You can get a copy of darktable (a "virtual dark room" tool) here: https://www.darktable.org/
Don't forget, you can always email me with questions or feedback at jdp@jeremypedersen.com ^_^
