The shortening of the second word of the title reflects the fact that "Mario Bros." is the name of these brothers' small business. The name also suggests that Mario's full name is Mario Mario and Luigi's full name is Luigi Mario! Or perhaps Mario's full name is Jumpman Mario and we have just been referring to him by his last name? π€
I am considering a playthrough to be the first 14 stages on beginner difficulty. I played on an original NES using a NES Advantage controller, RCA cables, and a Sharp X-Flat 27" CRT TV.
