Mario Kart 64 - Mushroom Cup 100cc
0I move onto 100cc next in Mario Kart 64, and I start 100cc off with the Mushroom Cup. I use Luigi in this video, and from how much I have played, each character doesn't have set rivals like in Super Mario Kart, because I found that for most of the Mushroom Cup, I mostly had Peach and Toad being the ones that would be in 2nd and 3rd, so I guess they were the rivals for this one.
The tracks for this one are Luigi Raceway, Moo Moo Farm, Koopa Troopa Beach, and Kalimari Desert. Interesting bit of trivia that I want to go over is that three of the tracks in the Mushroom Cup in this game were brought back in Mario Kart 7, those tracks were Luigi Raceway, Koopa Troopa Beach, and Kalimari Desert, while Moo Moo Farm was a Retro Track in Mario Kart DS.
I do like how easy Luigi's Raceway is as a track, and one other thing is that some tracks change from 50cc to 100cc, and that Item Box hanging from the balloon will always be a Spiny Shell, or Blue Shell as most of the players would call it, and you can even get it while you are in 1st place, and when you use it, you can get hit by your own Blue Shell. That Item Box will start appearing on the 2nd lap, and in Mario Kart 7, it was changed to a regular Item Box. Another good thing is that CPU players cannot get the Blue Shell, but they can get items like Banana Peels and Lightning.
