Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Classic Mode with Duck Hunt Duo: Dog, Duck, Zapper
0I play Classic Mode as Duck Hunt Duo in this video, and this is what the character is called in Europe, otherwise the character is just called Duck Hunt. How Classic Mode will be handled is that I will randomize a list which will decide which the next few characters will be, I randomize the list every week, or every now and then, and as for my playlist, the videos will be in order of how the fighters are displayed on the roster. Duck Hunt Duo's Classic Mode route is Dog, Duck, Zapper, and despite the character being called Duck Hunt Duo in Europe, they are really a trio, the NES Zapper is likely the third person. All of Duck Hunt Duo's opponents on their Classic Mode route are animals.
To unlock Duck Hunt Duo, there are many different ways to unlock them, one of them is Vs. Matches, Duck Hunt Duo is the 56th character to be unlocked, and they are the last character to be unlocked by completing Classic Mode with Donkey Kong or anyone in his unlock tree after Diddy Kong.
Duck Hunt Duo's first round opponents are Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, they are fought on Kongo Jungle, then they fight Sonic in Round 2, he is fought on Windy Hill Zone. Then in Round 3, they fight Fox, Falco, and Wolf on Garden of Hope, then their next opponent in Round 4 is a Giant King K. Rool on Kongo Falls. Then a Horde Battle in Round 5 against two Mii Brawlers, two Mii Swordfighters, and one Mii Gunner, and they wear animal costumes, the Mii Brawlers wear the Cat Hat and Cat Suit, the Mii Swordfighters wear the Bear Hat and Bear Suit, and the Mii Gunner wears the Monkey Hat and Monkey Suit. Then Round 6, a Horde Battle against 6 Duck Hunt Duos, or Duck Hunts, they are fought on Living Room, and if any of the costumes of the CPUs are used, the default Duck Hunt Duo will appear in the horde.
Next up is the Bonus Stage, and after that is a boss battle, and Duck Hunt Duo's final opponent is Rathalos, which is likely to fit in with the animal theme of Duck Hunt Duo's Classic Mode Route. Rathalos can be a very tough opponent, and items can spawn, like Bob-omb, Deku Nut, Pitfall, and Barrels, and you can stun the Rathalos temporarily.
After defeating the Rathalos, that is Classic Mode done with Duck Hunt Duo, and the credits song is the Duck Hunt Medley from Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U, and you then earn the Fighter Spirit for Duck Hunt Duo after completing Classic Mode with them.
