Sonic Colours: Ultimate Playthrough 12: Rescuing the Aliens
0After getting through most of Asteroid Coaster, Sonic takes on the boss of that course. This one is a really challenging boss fight, but it is a re-used boss battle. Eggman sure likes to re-use bosses from past areas and make them more challenging, and that is there to put a stop to his plans.

Here are the last few courses in Asteroid Coaster, starting with Act 5 in this video, and there are two Wisp powers, Cyan Laser and Purple Frenzy. This one is a really short course, and you must use the switches to rotate the barriers from Sweet Mountain, and the Wisps are used to progress through the course.
Then Act 6, and it starts the same way as Act 1, and after the coaster ride is going down inside and then doing some platforming, and the platforms go up when you step on them, but watch out for the spikes. Then we enter water in some parts of the course, and there are some underwater sections where you can use Purple Frenzy to destroy obstacles. It is Purple Frenzy through most of the course, and after all of that, we get like a boss enemy, well I guess a sub-boss for Asteroid Coaster, which can create spatial rifts around it, and you must use a Homing Attack at it, and it requires three hits, watch out for the electric barriers, and when defeated, this will unlock the path to the Goal Ring.
Then it is time for the boss battle, and this one is a re-used boss fight, this is Frigate Skullian, which is an upgraded version of Frigate Orcan back at Starlight Carnival, I am not a fan of how the last three area bosses are re-used versions of the first three boss fights, but at least this makes things more challenging. This boss is fought the same way, use a Homing Attack to damage it enough times, and the only Wisp power is Orange Rocket, which you can use in the 2D sections to deal double damage to Frigate Skullian, while this is a tricky boss fight, it shouldn't be too hard to defeat.
Once Frigate Skullian is back, we have saved all the Wisps, and both Sonic and Tails celebrate with the Wisps at Starlight Carnival, which was where everything all started.
