7Because I neglected to put any up in the last session, here are some Battle Mode videos. Personally, I think Battle Mode has become a lot more interesting in this game, due to the variety of modes and the dedicated Battle Mode stages ensuring players remain close to each other. In any case, here they are.

I got hit a lot, but at the same time, I also hit a lot of others. As I learned to look at the map carefully and see who's trailing me, I wound up with my first ever 1st place in this mode. Instead of ldriving behind other players, like what I was doing at the start, it's best to cut in front of others using alternate paths and shortcuts, then drop Bob-ombs from behind you.

Renegade Roundup (Authorities)
As you can see, AI players fill in for any remaining spots if there are fewer than 12 players in the room. I really should pay more attention to the map in this mode. I didn't realize a Renegade found by an Authority player will appear on the map. If it works for Bob-omb Blast, it ought to work for Renegade Roundup.

Playing as an Inking in Urchin Underpass. How perfect. (I wonder if Urchin Underpass will return for Splatoon 2. Seems to be an iconic map in Splatoon 1.)

This session actually went on for quite a while. This is because I was trying to get a variety of courses for this video, but any time SNES Battle Course 1 came up in the rotation, over half the room would pick it. Is this normal? If so, what is it about this stage that makes people want to play on it over and over? Is it like Final Destination?

Well, we're back here. I told you that the stage variety in this session was pitiful. Here, you can see that I was busting out teammates left and right while some of my teammates just spent the whole time running away, with either no attempts to break out teammates or just doing so by accident. This lack of understanding of the rules and cooperation is just like playing Splatoon all over again! But NAO understands!
