Next up is Spooky House, this is a haunted mansion theme world with Polterguys, a ghost Shy Guy that can turn into blocks when Mario steps on a Color Switch. Spooky House also has Thwomps in some of the levels, and these put Mario to the test.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

In the original game, Spooky House is the fourth world, but in this remake, it is the fifth world, so I will be referring to the courses as 5-1 instead of 4-1, which is what it was in the original GBA game. When I recorded this video, I did the first three levels only to realize I wasn't recording, so I decided to do the first three again so that I can show these levels.
Starting with 5-1, this course introduces Thwomps, and the smaller ones are called Thwimps, these kinds first appeared in Super Mario World and they appeared in New Super Mario Bros. U. The first part makes use of the Switches to avoid the Thwomps, while the second part has you make use of the falling spikes and get past a Thwimp.
5-2 has conveyor belts and ropes, well they look more like chains, but they can use like ropes, and the second part introduces Sir Shovalot, these enemies use a shield to push Mario away, and when Mario is crouching, he can get past openings in the walls, as they are small for Mario to get through normally.
5-3 can be a tricky course as there are lifts and Color Switches to make use of platforms, and after making use of the Color Switches and getting the key to the top platform, the next course introduces Polterguys, ghost Shy Guys that turn into blocks when you press a Color Switch matching their colour.
In 5-4, we get introduced to Boo, who works the same way as he did back in the Super Mario games, when you look at Boo, he stops moving, and the first part of the level has falling spikes, while the second part makes use of Sir Shovalot, lifts, and Color Switches to get to the Mini-Mario.
In 5-5, we avoid the Thwomp and pick up the key and throw it to the conveyor belt to get to the door, and the second part makes use of Color Switches to control the Polterguys and the platforms, while you have to position some Blue Polterguys to get to the Mini-Mario while using them as platforms.
Next up is 5-6, this one makes use of many different things, the first part makes use of Springboards, Color Switches, lifts, and many others when making way to the key and picking it up to use for the door. The second part makes use of Sir Shovalots in the course, as well as Color Switches and using the Red Polterguys to cross the spikes.
Time for the Mini-Mario course, and this one has you avoiding Thwomps and using Color Switches to guide the Mini-Mario toys, and after getting past some obstacles, we take on Donkey Kong. When Donkey Kong presses a switch, it turns a Polterguy that matches the colour of the switch into a Shy Guy, which Mario can throw at Donkey Kong to hit him, and after hitting him four times to defeat him, we move to the next course, it is Slippery Summit, which is a new course in the remake as it was not in the original Mario Vs. Donkey Kong for the Game Boy Advance.
