Here are the team of Pokémon in this video, which was decided by the random number generator.

The CPU leads the fight with Pikachu, and when I have three Pokémon on the team weak to Electric-type moves, I wanted to see how Pidgeot's Swift does against it before making the switch, and I decided that Nidorino can try to do as much to Pikachu before going down, and while it does have Thunder to take on the Water-types, Machamp has ThunderPunch for them as well.
I do have Machamp's Submission for Dunsparce, both Flying-types can fight Beedrill, Pidgeot has Fly to get in some damage on it before finishing it off with Swift. For Blastoise, if it comes out against Kangaskhan, what I can do is use Leer to lower its Defense and use Dizzy Punch until Kangaskhan is down, and then I can bring in another Pokémon to finish Blastoise off.
I do have Noctowl for backup against Beedrill, but the main use for it will be against Octillery where I can use Fly to avoid its Hyper Beam, and if it uses Lock-On, which does ensure that its next attack will hit even if Noctowl is using Fly, then I use Take Down on it. Machamp is there to get in some hits with ThunderPunch, and while it is there to use Scary Face against Rapidash to lower its Speed, that is depending on if I still have Machamp for later in the fight and when Rapidash comes into the battle, but I do have Totodile's Surf to deal with that. The downside to fighting Octillery is the accuracy drop from Octazooka, the move has a 50% chance to lower the opponent's accuracy when used.
