Doctor Doom is the sub-boss in this game. He is an unlockable playable character.

===== About Doctor Doom =====
Iconic and powerful Marvel villain with a goal to take over the world. Apparently his face is scarred which means he wears the mask to hide it.

===== About PS1 Marvel Super Heroes =====
Because Marvel Super Heroes is less graphics intensive than COTA, it resulted in a fairly okay port on the PSX. There is some slowdown and loads of character animation frames have been cut. If you're used to the Arcade version you'll definitely notice it.
