Released in 2012 for iOS and later for Android, Mass Effect: Infiltrator is a mobile third-person shooter set in the Mass Effect universe. You play as Randall Ezno, a Cerberus agent who turns against the organization after discovering some seriously shady alien experiments. The story runs alongside Mass Effect 3, and while it’s not essential to the main plot, it adds a cool bit of side lore.
The gameplay is all about cover-based shooting across a bunch of combat encounters—there’s no branching dialogue or deep RPG systems like the main series, so it’s more action-focused. One neat touch is that finishing missions actually boosts your Galactic Readiness score in ME3.
