To quote Max Payne, "here we go again". I guess I'll now finish testing the default variations of future data around the game, just to figure out how much time this glitch saves overall. Glitchy mayhem is to be expected.

Future data is a very unique trick that combines the current level with the next cutscene or set piece that is loaded in the memory. To see how it's started, see one of my older videos on the matter like "big glitchy timesave in Chapter 2-6".

0:00 - Chapter 6-2. Loading trigger is hit after killing all enemies and seeing a cutscene.

Activating future data teleports Max and I.T. kid to the doors ahead and the next Checkpoint begins early. Cutscene graphics and in-game graphics combine, and you can see several I.T. Kids on the screen simultaneously at one point. But soon things continue on like normal. This might be a minor time save in a speedrun since it skips navigation.

0:20 - Activating future data while examining Victor's desk makes cutscene audio play in the background of examining the clue. Soon, Max is teleported to the cutscene, where he'll fall beneath the floor for no reason. Retry takes you to Chapter 6-3 and returns things to normal.

0:45 - Chapter 6-3. Next loading trigger activates after having defeated all enemies and watching the short cutscene.

Activating future when idle sends Max to next Checkpoint early. The Checkpoint intro begins without Max around, though, since he is still occupied inside another cutscene. Max escorts I.T. Kid - or rather, more than one of them - through the doors while the camera is awkwardly placed very close to the wall and you can't see much. Enemies keep shooting at defenseless Max all this time, and you'll probably get a game over or Last Man Standing during all this time. If you do get LMS, Max will be invulnerable after the cutscene is over, and if you shot any enemies, they may be stuck in t-pose.

2:18 - as a bonus glitch effect, after the combat nothing happened and I could go onward in the level without the I.T. Kid. After retrying, the fight with the thugs began like normal, after which the "victory" cutscene started all of a sudden with thugs still shooting at Max. The Chapter 6-5 intro also looked very laggy, with Max thrown around like a ragdoll too. Things worked out like normal after that, though.

4:13 - Activating Chapter 6-3 future data even earlier - during the cutscene after fight - Max is sent to next Checkpoint early, but with a different timing and camera placement. You can see the glitchy action better, but otherwise results are very similar. Note that if you keep shooting at random after surviving LMS, you may accidentally hit I.T. Kid (?) causing a game over. And it seems getting a game over at any point during this combined cutscene simply gives you an endless loading screen.

5:13 - Chapter 6-4. Next loading trigger is active shortly after the start of the fight.

Activating future data during the fight lets you see the post-fight cutscene from in-game camera while enemies are attacking Max. At some point one of the enemies may melee Max, causing his arm to bend or other strange effects to occur. Afterwards, Max is frozen in place. If there are enemies around, they can knock him out of his stupor, but otherwise you're stuck - retry sends you back to the start of the Checkpoint.

6:21 - an alternative outcome where all enemies vanished and Max was stuck.

6:48 - Activating future data during the "abandoning I.T. Kid" scene makes Max appear and tell the duplicated I.T. Kid that they're safe right as one of them gets shot. After retry, the cutscene keeps continuing in a subtle way - Max is stuck at the cover where the Checkpoint begins while a duplicated I.T. Kid is being escorted to safety by an invisible man with a gun in his hand. The cutscene invisible Max and I.T. Kid are immune to bullets. If enemies shoot Max enough and you enter LMS, he will fall through the floor for some reason. Whether you fall or stay in cover, eventually - by the end of the cutscene - Max is teleported near the closet where Chapter 6-5 starts at and he becomes completely stuck and invulnerable afterwards - have to retry.

7:50 - just an alternative take where I shoot the invisible man and fall out of bounds with different timing.
