Dr. Wily's turned GOOD? A likely story! Together with Dr. Light, the pair have developed a new gigantic robot known as "Gamma" that they hope will solve all the world's problems...or something.

All that's needed to power their new creation is energy that can be found on eight separate planets throughout the solar system, and to help things along Light and Wily co-created a brand new set of Robot Masters to explore, excavate and extract this ambiguous energy source.

But wait a minute...OH NO! THE ROBOT MASTERS HAVE TURNED EVIL! Tool up, Mega Man! It's time to go collect that energy and take down these rogue-bots!!

Hopefully Wily won't turn out to be behind all of this. Third time's the charm...right?
