ITS GUTSMAN! ♪DUR DURRRRR♪

Okay, besides that, like I said in my previous video, Gutsman works with Bomb Man for construction and mining purposes. His guts, as in his strength, are important assets towards this.

For some reason, when you step on those moving green platforms, the game doesn't seem to reset Mega Man's falling speed back to zero. So if you walk right off the platform or let it drop Mega Man, he'll fall at a dangerous speed. Most speedruns take advantage of this in a different way.

When you face Gutsman, he has powerful stomps that shake up the screen, mute the music, and immobilize Mega Man. In fact, he won't be able to move longer than the screen will shake, and the screen can shake longer than he can jump. Sometimes, shaking the screen will cause a rock cube to fall, which he then throws.

When it hits a wall, it splits up into smaller debris that will still fly towards Mega Man. Dodging this debris can go from hard to impossible, so don't dilly-dally too much in kicking Gutsman's ass.

If you have the Hyper Bomb here, all it takes is three of them to destroy Gutsman. I don't like this weapon since it requires good timing. Beating Gutsman gives Mega Man his weapon: Super Arm. It can only be used when Mega Man is right next to a rock cube.
