Mega Man X8 (Layer/Zero): No damage taken, where I'm playing through the game on Hard Mode. It's a NG+ file, so of course, I'll have all of the weapons. This is not a minimalist run, so I'm using everything at my disposal, but still remaining fair for the No Damage challenge. This is the Legacy Collection version, so all game-breaking glitches are no longer present and I'm playing Mega Man X8 glitch-free; the way it's supposed to be. Before you ask, the custom music I use will be listed below near the end of the description. Thanks for stopping by.

Hoooooo boy. Gateway sure did put me through the ringer when I recorded for it. This Boss Rush is something else, because unlike the previous X games, the longevity of these boss battles can be REALLY taxing on your endurance. Layer is well equipped to destroy them all now that I have every technique at my disposal, and it makes certain re-fights with bosses I had before to be much cleaner (like Dark Mantis and Earthrock Trilobyte. I loooove how much more clean they look now compared to my takes in their stages). Still, this was no cakewalk by any means.

I decided to deal with this in a way that wouldn't stress me out too much. Avalanche Yeti and Bamboo Pandamonium are two of the most difficult of the eight Mavericks, so they had to go down first. Bamboo... well, I say he's one of the hardest ONLY due to those retarded hitboxes he has. If the hitboxes functioned like a normal boss, I'd consider him one of the easier ones to No Damage, but trust me, the gauntlet nature of this Boss Rush taught me just how much worse those hitboxes really are on Pandamonium. Once those two were down, Burn Rooster and Optic Sunflower were the next two bothers. Burn Rooster's platforms are sort of altered in how they behave in the Boss Rush, so getting that loop I mentioned in his own video is unreliable here (even though it CAN be done). And Optic Sunflower is just his usual annoying self, so those were the next two obvious choices. From there, I kinda just made sure Dark Mantis was down before I unleashed my Double Attack on Earthrock Trilobyte, because... well, you already know my beef with him. But with his weakness on hand, he's not that bad here anymore. Gravity Antonion and Gigabolt Man-o-War?

...Hahahaha.

Well, all that was left is Copy Sigma and... well, he's also a pushover. Only thing worth mentioning is that you're best staying grounded, because his flight can pluck you out the air based on how fast he is with it. Other than that, he's fresh meat. After I finished off Gigabolt, I knew I had the Boss Rush conquered.

Oh boy, but Sigma Palace... Well, I may or may not have that up tomorrow morning. I actually recorded everything BUT that. But given my progress on it, chances are, I'll get it done tomorrow on time.
