Demonstration of a Zero 3 Any% Ultimate Mode run. This was made with RTA strats in mind though there are some things which could be considered borderline not viable for RTA. Some stage times aren't completely optimal as this is meant to show how to run the game in an RTA setting.

Seen people mess around with Ultimate Mode over the years but never seen anyone try to take the category seriously. With the Legacy Collection out now, a few people have taken interest in this category due to it being easy to pick up. After messing around in a few stages in this mode I decided to make a full route for it since it ended up being really fun to play.

In Ultimate mode you start the game with every Cyber Elf (Fusion elves are already equipped) and every equipment part that can be obtained from a disk. Stuff like EX Skills and boss equipment drops are still obtained by clearing stages. The big things you start with are Quick Charge Head, Ultimate Foot and Clokkle. These alone let you trivialize early stages and lets you take a different boss order in the last part of the game so you can get Gale Attack much sooner. It's also significantly harder to die since you have a 64 unit HP bar which is 4 times more health than normal.

This run is an easier but different version of Any% which new players can get into while still providing interesting stuff for experienced players. Like with Any%, sub 43 is considered a solid time with low 41/high 40 being the hard times to reach.
