While I'd actually want to go and take care of something in another stage first, I need a bit more zenny to pick up something very important for Harpuia, something that will make this task I want to go do much easier. As such, I head into the 3rd Archive Bot stage.

The design behind this stage and the other four are largely the same besides the layout. The enemies are upgraded versions of whatever enemies were seen in the original version of the level (in this case, enemies are from Dark Dizzy's stage). Granted, that still doesn't save them from getting one hit killed by Glow Laser. A shame really because the battle theme kicks into high gear with the killer 2nd battle theme from Megaman X Command Mission.

The other constant is what constitutes the primary gimmick behind the Archive Bot stages...boss fights where said bots taken on the abilities of mavericks from the previous game. It's the same gimmick they pulled from their native game they were featured in (MM10).

For this stage, the bosses mimic'd are, in order, Slash Beast, then Cyber Peacock. The damage they do is not to be underestimated. At best, the damage is slightly worse than the boss in the last video. Worst case scenario, the damage is more like 1.2k-1.6k to the entire team.

At least for Cyber Peacock, I have the zenny to pick up what I wanted for Harpuia, the Master Sword skill. Costs 50 WE, but Harpuia basically uppercuts an enemy with his saber for a good 1300-1600+ damage, making him an excellent boss attacker now.

Weakness wise, Slash Beast is weak to Mine Crab and Cyber Peacock is weak to Dark Flash.

After clearing the stage, I use the last bit of my funds to pick up some Reboots because I've been sorely lacking those the past few stages.

Next time, I go take care of some business in a previous stage.
