Current version: 1.03

As if one series getting some spotlight time with a maverick wasn't enough, a mainline series gets its first maverick into the swirling vortex of shenanigans.

Attack wise, there's plenty of options. Fire, claw, ray, stone, and sword attacks are all viable options here. I only really used two attacks during the stage...Ray Splasher for random mob clearing and Slash Claw for the bosses.

First though, a little something about X that I didn't pick up on until after this stage was over with. Every time you go to select your party for the stage, his equipment gets removed aside from his starter weapon for the armor he has equipped. This explains why his damage compared to Duo was much lower throughout.

Boss wise, the mid boss is...another X1 entity? Yeah, it's not a lie. Just so happens to be the robot with that spiked roller attachment from X1's Armored Armadillo stage...huge of course, heh. Honestly, I think we're down to like two mid bosses from the maverick stages in X1 that haven't been seen yet. Probably will show up at some point the way everything's been going.

As for the main boss itself...well, it's damage is slightly higher and he's got a fair chunk of health. He still gets put down well before I need to heal anyone though. Definitely could give you a bit of trouble if you rush here and challenge him as your 3rd boss.

With that, the first set of mavericks are dust, only to be seen once again at the inevitable maverick refight dance come endgame time. Still Gate to deal with though somehow.
